Yeah I wouldn't put a spare up there either. Some lights, gas containers and other misc items and you should be set.

No shit man I almost bought this today before seeing this thread, lets both investigate prices and best rack for the buck. Post whatever you find!

i'd do it if its one that you bolt to the existing rack mounting holes, not to the current rack, doesn't look as good IMO.

But if you're bent on getting a rack, that one you posted would pretty cool, me thinks. :)

yea i know it is not easy to get stuff off of the roof. But the more that i think about it if i do, do it i might put the spare up there just to get it out of the back beacuse as most of you know there is NO room in the back of a 2 door that way i would have more room. But HOPE that i dont have a flat to often

I have also found one like this for 150 and it is bigger than the other and i think would look better

RockyMt21 has one for sale in the For Sale section for $115 plus shipping.

Believe it or not, I have never had a flat tire on any of the vehicles I have owned. Nor have I had to replace a battery.

Also I think if what above is not available I'm just gonna go ahead and buy a proline safari rack and make a tire mount for it.
