they look good but i believe our engines (i have a 96 vortec) must use self aligning.
I prefer non self aligning with guideplates but not sure on your case.
Must use guideplates and hardened pushrods.

When using Roller rockers it's always better full roller over roller tip.

Comp cams have self align full rollers. You should be able to use the 1015-16 set with out any mods. I only could get the magnum roller tip 1.52 for mine at the time. I like them just fine.

Are the Rocker arm studs on modern Vortec 5.7's screw in or pressed in?

My book show's a torque for the 4.3L and 7.4L only.

Cylinder head modifications are awesome.

I once setup an early model SBC with roller rockers, screw in studs, pushrod guide plates, oversized valve springs and chromoly pushrods.

Wound up really fast.

So even though these are 1.5 ratio I would still need head modification for the push rod clearance?
