So it looks like ill be driving the Denali more the 5k miles a year . So with that been said I would like a smoother ride I'm current running 305/45/22 and I feel the rode way more then I like. I'm thinking if I go down to a 20 series tire/rim I would get a Better ride. What you guys think ?? . I have a wilwood BBk so the lowest I can go is 20's

My 20's with 275X55R20 rubbers ride pretty dam smooth. As do my wife's she has GT Champros and I have Nitto 420's both are V rated and honestly I like how hers handles better in the rain.

A smaller rim will give you more rubber, so in theory it might ride a bit better... IMHO, Road noise has more to do with the brand and tread design... A cheaper 20 will ride worse than an expensive 22.

I am buying a new set of wheels and they are coming with 305/45/22 on them... Do you have any clearance issues?

Just a slight rubb when reversing and wheel is fully locked to the left. I was thinking the same about quality of tire . Fellas with escalade 22's the 8 spoke ones that come stock with duler (I think that's the name) How's the ride quality??
