If you get the proper kit linked earlier in this thread it will work. Not sure where the idea came from but you cant just go buy your own cluster and throw it in there like he attempted. The Video posted in this thread is the setup portion of one of the kits listed below which comes preprogrammed with custom retrofit programming:

I actually did it l, it requires setup though techline connect, I bought a ACDELCO TDS SPS subscription for my vin for 2 years, you can get an MDI from Amazon but the Bosch one also works. A dealer should be able to do it if you pay there fee.

Ok, I purchased my own used Full Digital Cluster from a 2023 Tahoe (no HUD), I installed this into my 2021 Tahoe Premier. I usedACDelco TDS and serialized the new cluster to the system and it works perfectly. My only issue is that I no longer have the HUD working, I know it needs to be configured in the cluster, is this something I would use "setup" or "programming" on the cluster module to set the options for my specific vehicle?

Yup everything will work as it's supposed to. As mentioned in a previous post you cant just toss a cluster in this application and have everything work like it's supposed to sadly which is why we developed the kit with the proper unit and custom retrofit programming etc.

Pretty cool, was it pretty much plug n play? Other than the programming done by WAMS?

Semi related, I put a High Country cluster in my Custom trim 2022 Silverado. White Automotive (WAMS) programmed it for me and I had to add a wire made by Harness Dr.

Yea, plug and play as they set it up to your options but you need to have a dealer plug in to do a quick setup or if you have access to a MDI2 and account you can do it yourself. They give the directions on what needs done, very easy.
