I have a 2003 Tahoe with the Bose entertainment package. The CD player quit working about a year ago.
I installed a used CD player from AliExpress but couldn’t get it to work. It would load the CD but not play (or eject).
I’ve checked out a few local car stereo shops. They have nice quality systems, but today’s technology makes for smaller physical systems and the configuration of an installed system provides more cubby holes to make use of the leftover space. I don’t need more cubby holes.
Anyone familiar with a replacement system that provides a CD player along with other features that might make use of the excess space besides cubby holes (e.g. providing gateway to play music lists on a phone through the entertainment system, etc.)
