Replace Glove Box Lock Cylinder

Im trying to replace my 08 Tahoe glove box lock cylinder but can't figure out how to get it out. I've tried searching this forum and online and there is a little hole on the inside that I think needs to be pressed with the key in and in the horizontal position but the thing doesn't budge. Any detailed guide or instructions on how to get this thing out?

My guess is that you have not pushed the black clip in far enough to allow the lock cylinder to back out of the mounting hole.
