Replace 6disc in Denali with what?

Hey guys I'm looking to remove my 6disc cd changer, not sure if a single din cubby would fit or if I should just make a plate for switches or something. What have y'all done?

I've seen people put single din dvd players in there and have also seen screens put in there. I'm debating what I want to do in my escalade... I have a Pioneer Avic F500BT that I was going to put there but changed my mind and will probably just sell it and think of something else to put there

My ash tray rattles a little but not the actual CD changer. Put your hand on different panels around there to find the source of the rattle

Im not sure, mine is just the ash tray that rattles

Yea, people have put dvd players, monitors, tablets, etc..

I removed it and added a single DIN Cd player with a USB port on the front. This gives me the capability to listen to MP3 disc and thumb drives loaded with MP3s. I mounted it by cutting off the ears of the factory disc changer and welding them to the radio cage that came with the aftermarket radio.

Thats a good idea. Has anybody mounted some kind of signal processor, i.e an EQ? Or remote bass knob?
