Found a neat model train layout in the Italian portion of Epcot.

I’m half Italian which explains my love for food so of course I HAD to get gnocchi in the Italian portion…. Lol and it was DELICIOUS!!

We stayed at margaritaville resort the whole week which was very fun. The resort owns a large strip mall in downtown of the hotel with a few shops and various restaurants. There’s a 1920s ford themed restaurant and Dylan, Justin, and I went for dinner the first night of the trip and it was very good. The whole experience of the restaurant was fun. Had a smoked brisket burnt ends sandwich…. So tasty! Shop towels as napkins, giant fried onion rings that came out on a funnel with a long filler tube. All the cocktails were vehicle themed. And lots of memorabilia all around.

There was a giant ride right at the hotel called the slingshot…. Jayden desperately wanted to go on and no one would. He asked me, and me being the thrill seeking, adventure having, adrenaline ***** that I am…. Of course I said yes! It was pretty fun. Everyone was sure I’d either throw up or pass out lol. But I got nerves of steel and made it through totally unphased! But when the operator offered a second ride and said “I can send you higher and faster”, I was like I’m I’ve tempted fate once and I think that’s enough…. Lol. Will upload the video shortly.

Universal was a lot of fun! The Hogwarts express was my favorite simply because it wasn’t just a plain old people mover across the park but actually very detailed. Period correct passenger cabins inside the train cars, and the windows looking out were an LCD screen playing scenes from the Harry Potter movies as if you were riding the train in the movie. Super cool because I love trains too.

Saw the jurassic park Jeep and of course rode the original ride and the velociraptor coaster.

I made everyone go on the fast and furious ride. It was totally corny but fun to say we did it and the walkthrough all the garages that actually leads up to the ride is cool because you get to see all the prop cars from the film.

Margaritaville had a street fair in the strip mall the night before the universal day so we walked around a bit and I found the most badass Star Wars themed souvenir to bring home. Definitely wanted a Star Wars something or other but didn’t want any gimmicky Disney stuff. But found this from a vendor at the street fair. Supporting small business is always good and it’s beautifully crafted. Got it hanging up on the wall at my new house in the living room lol.

Last night of the trip we went to a really cool seafood restaurant for dinner and the strip mall was having a car show. So gorgeous rides were brought out! Personal favorite was the VW.

And lastly me sitting in the cockpit of the plane in the first leg of the return flight. King west we had to land to refuel so we took off from Kissimmee airport and landed in Austin to refuel. Also got to walk bully a gorgeous G500 sitting on the ramp at the million air flight center where we refueled. There was a nice falcon jet and a private helicopter taxied into the ramp while we were there. Pretty neat.

All in Florida was fabulous and I felt like a million bucks getting to tag along on the trip!

Finally got around to relaxing my beat up DRL lenses on the Nali. Splurged and bought a little more expensive lenses and I really like them. Gives it a better look I think.

He’s been running good and not complaining. Mileage is piling up but that’s ok.

Been working a lot the last few weeks since Florida. Went through the first snowstorm of the season last week in the new house. Got a solid 6 inches. Night before though the storm was ridiculous, several areas across the valley clocked 80MPH, and the ski resort picked up a gust over a 100MPH at the top of bear mountain. Absolutely insanity. Rained all day Tuesday, and then Tuesday evening the storm took out a power pole over on the north side of the lake and the ENTIRE big Bear valley was without power for over 6 hours. Not just parts of the valley like the last few outages over the summer but the entire valley. Thankfully power came back on in my neighborhood about 1:30am Wednesday morning. Heard the heater kick back in and a couple lights lit up. Thankfully my new house is well insulated, never dropped below 60 degrees so I stayed pretty comfortable. Woke up to 6 inches of snow and then parts of the valley didn’t have power well into late in the day Wednesday.

I’ll tell ya, the luxury of a garage to park the Nali in, during a snowstorm is an even more under appreciated by most people luxury! But I’m enjoying the hell out of it!! Not having to go out and clear snow off of the road tank was glorious!!

Two days after the storm I rolled down to apple valley in the high desert two days in a row. My good friend Lisa’s mom lives down there. Ceramic coated her little Rav4 and washed here 2008 2 door wrangler. But the best part was the second day. She has a 2007 Sierra 3500 SLE, that her husband had bought brand new, and only used a few times a year to haul their big lance camper. The truck is absolutely immaculately kept! Did a 2 year ceramic coating on it and I’m jealous! Truck legitimately has 38k on the odometer!! Holy cow! Check out the before and after photos! I may have the chance to buy this truck after the first of the year if she decides to sell, and if she does I’m jumping on it without a doubt and buying it! It’s so well kept and the mileage is just calling to me! Lol. She named the truck the millennium falcon cuz it hauls her camper without phase haha. And if I buy it, I will hands down keep that name cuz you know #starwarsnerd…. Lol

AAAAAANNNNNNNDDDD……

On to this weekends adventure! This one actually involves my truck I promise! Lol

So back in august my sister randomly asked me one day if I had tickets to see Carrie underwood would I use them?! I’m like…… “um HELL YES I WOULD!!!” She got me two tickets for my birthday to her San Francisco show!! I was so stoked!! Flying ended up being too complicated as it was ridiculously expensive and all the flights out of socal had 4-8 layovers in Vegas…. I’m like what the heck…. I can drive there faster…. So we did! Lisa was the only one that could go with me so we went and had an absolute blast! The Nali performed flawlessly for 926 miles round trip. We saw the funniest thing…. Somewhere on the I-5 heading north… a little tiny BMW, I think a 1 or 2 series whatever it was, pulling a pop up trailer…. I’m like oh good lord… only in California… he’s getting pushed around in the light winds like crazy. It has hilarious…

And then saw a stretch caddy limo…. Just south of frisco. Haven’t seen a K2XX stretched into a limo. Was interesting.
