Yeah that’s what I thought as well. Which I would assume is how the new setup is currently wired.Correct, if I'm not mistaken when that wire gets power, it signals power to go to your backup cam.

If your cam isn't working while you're in drive then I don't think it is--wired to a keyed hot.Yeah that’s what I thought as well. Which I would assume is how the new setup is currently wired.
You lost me.... lolIf your cam isn't working while you're in drive then I don't think it is--wired to a keyed hot.
The camera is activated by the reverse wire when put in reverse. It's not constantly hot, so the camera only activates(turns on)when the vehicle is put in reverse. If you connect a keyed hot wire--wire gets power when the key is turned to the on position--the camera will always be on, even while in drive. You'll have to switch to the camera from the headunit. This way you'll be able to check on whatever your hauling, while your driving down the highway, and you won't have to be in reverse to have the camera working. I'm not very good at explaining things, I hope I didn't confuse you. It really is easy tho.You lost me.... lol
Ahh... I thought you said the reverse of that scenario. Like I thought you were saying the the reverse wire was always hot, so I was scratching my head a bit... lol. I understand what you meant now haha. I’d imagine since the headunit allows the camera to constantly be powered then I would assume there’s an extra wire going to the camera for that reason. Which is what I need to find out and then find the keyed hot wire to hook it up to. LolThe camera is activated by the reverse wire when put in reverse. I can’t seem to find these. I already put the standard liners in my Tukon, but I like the xact contour ones better. But the site says they don’t make them for 2003-2006..? Looked under Tahoe, Yukon and Esky..@05Single
They make x-act contours for our gen trucks! I just didn’t want tan liners! lol
If they make them for 01-02 you're in!I can’t seem to find these. I already put the standard liners in my Tukon, but I like the xact contour ones better. But the site says they don’t make them for 2003-2006..? Looked under Tahoe, Yukon and Esky..
Looks like they have the classic, or heavy duty mats for the 2002 model year. Oh wellIf they make them for 01-02 you're in!

You're a good son.Apparently people see my Nali and think “oh you have a big car you can move stuff for me and you can tow this trailer full of stuff for me right?!?!” Ugh I’m so damn tired of it! Lol. On the upside my mom just closed escrow yesterday on a house almost a year after the owner of the house she rents decided they’re selling the house, and the property management company telling her she has to move out this month....
the first of MANY trailer loads to be put behind the Nali.....

Oh I know.... I co-signed the loan for her so she could qualify for a better loan in order to be able to afford buying a nice house and not a crappy little hole in the wall joint in the forest......You're a good son.

Moved my in-laws a few years ago from their house 2-1/2 hours away to a retirement building in the town I live in. 1/2 the stuff went to auction, 1/2 went to the new place. Made multiple trips pulling a trailer of some sort or another over the course of the summer of 2017, sometimes 3 a weekend moving stuff. My garage was the staging point for a bunch of stuff.
Oooo.....is it 7/8 of the way finished now ?But I got a cool mod to replace it with!! Stay tuned as I’ll post pics in the AM. It’s 3/4 of the way back together.... lol waiting on the center airbag. Refinished it tonight and I gotta let it sit over night. Once that’s cured in the morning, it can go back together and hopefully everything will work the way it’s supposed to...![]()

Yeah.. what gives?!? 9/10...?Oooo.....is it 7/8 of the way finished now ?![]()

I have to put ALL my financial plans for the next year, on hold because of co-signing this loan. I’m NOT happy about it.But god forbid I not be a good son and do this for my mom....
