Yup it’s where highway 247 meets the 15 freeway in Barstow. I can drive down the 247 in about a half hour and hit that spot. And then head east on the 15 freeway and be in Vegas in three hours from that spot.
Bet it’s not snowing in Vegas....just sayin’

We got about 5 inches of heavy, spring snow last night. Trying to kill all the plants I put in the ground last weekend, and all the trees that just sprouted a ton of new leaves. Damn snow.

Boring updates this time around. Oil change today about 100 before the interval. Oil monitor was at 4% abs it was close enough so I just handled it this evening. Air filter clean.
My new tags abs registration came in the mail today so I put my new tag on my rear plate. $206 for registration....

Also found this little guy for an easier way to get the oil filter on and off since it’s such a pain the behind with it being so close to the pan! Kinda nifty little tool: DAA37A7F-78A0-42E4-BA71-A89B1D60AE51.jpeg

Had to replace my fogs this week. The cheap led rings were burning out and the inside of the lenses were dirty...

The new ones have halos in them but look just like the stock fog housings. But of course they’re cheap Taiwan products and the seller sent me a pair that the halos don’t work.... ugh.... whatever I just needed the fogs replaced so these are in. The new ones have my led bulbs in them and they look good. 21080C58-5F71-49E6-B796-DA74D16ED49B.jpeg B42053DB-9502-45D0-8311-B78EEE098D12.jpeg

Those fogs look way better imo. Good choice.

I agree. The their ones were too small for the opening. These ones are identical to oem fogs. Just bummed I don’t have halos though.
Are you sure you didn’t just need to reverse the polarity on their wiring? Remember, led’s have a + and - and won’t turn on if they’re not wired right, unlike regular bulbs where polarity doesn’t matter.

I’ve done enough wiring now to have learned about polarity with LEDs......

Just checking, seems weird that not just one but both of the halos don't work. I pulled one of my HID headlights out to work on something and put it back in but forgot they need to have the polarity reversed in order to work on GM’s so for a bit I thought I had a burned out ballast. Not sure if our fogs have the same issue so just wanted to be sure you had tried reversing the leads.

Wouldn't be the first time an eBay product had the leads reversed in assembly.....

Had hids for a year , then ran halogens for a couple months. When I went to install the same hid kit back in the plugs were reversed . Funny gm’s
I always first pop the hood and hook everything up directly to the battery as soon as I get it. If something is wrong I contact the seller right away. Sometimes might be weeks or months before I install it. But also it votes out possible defects in factory wiring or whatever (example: polarity)

When I couldn’t get it to work I did this and still nothing. On both driver and passenger side fogs. Super irritating.
