Removing second row headrest

Hi all. Our second row headrest doesnt stay up. There is a clip in there that I think is broken. However, I cannot seem to get the head rest off. I see the circular retaining clip and can open it but the head rest wont come off. Any ideas? It is a 2021 AT4.

Well I got it out. Not sure where the cable goes.

Do the head rests fold when the seat folds?

Yes but the one I removed wouldnt stay up when the seat was unfolded. Sounds like there is a broken mechanism in the headrest. I have ordered a new one.
