If the engine is running and you leave with the keyfob (not remote started) it will also turn off after 15 minutes.

There are ways you can program this out. I saw a recent video on youtube about a tuner in a 2019 Silverado. They disabled auto start-stop, among other things.

No, k2 trucks will run for 30 min to an 1 hour idled (I forget which but def longer than 15 min and I think it’s an hour) unless diff MY changed.

We don’t have start-stop and the only place I’ve heard of that can change anything in the bcm is a place called
Btdiesleworks or something but there may be others. That stuff is a function of the bcm.

According to the 2019 manual (page 228 in sierra version) under extended parking.

"If the vehicle is left parked and running with the RKE transmitter outside the vehicle, it will continue to run for up to half an hour.

If the vehicle is left parked and running with the RKE transmitter inside the vehicle, it will continue to run for up to an hour.

The vehicle could turn off sooner if it is parked on a hill, due to lack of available fuel.

The timer will reset if the vehicle is taken out of P (Park) while it is running.'

This information pertains to the 2019 Silverado and Sierra.

It is also in my 2019 Yukon owner's manual. You are correct!
