Rear wiper

I am having a problem with the rear wiper on my 00 OBS Tahoe it has no tension on the window you turn it on but barley cleans anything . You can pull the arm out to you and it stays there . The spring looks to be fine, kind of stumped on this one . Anybody run into this problem ? Thanks in advance

I believe you need a replacement arm. gm 15043067. About $50 at dealers.

I had a similar issue on my Denali. New wiper arm from the dealer took care of it.

The Dorman replacement part number is 42549. About $30 from Amazon.

why not take it off and see if you can find a spring at a hardware store locally?? the local hardware store here carries tons of springs that would probably work
