rear tailgate striker (yes another thread)

Been searching for what seems like forever, I have read some threads on possible replacements, but?

Even seen a video or two on slipping some nylon/teflon, some kinda lon over the bar?

Any 2023 real time help on this, or maybe someone has one stashed away and now the the time to sell to me?

Also would kill for the little part above the striker, just saying.

Tailgate strikers

Hi have a 1996 Yukon Gt anyone know where I can purchase the strikers for the tailgate. The plactic part is gone from one and other to follow. I believe the GM part # 15645314/striker is NLA any advice

But not sure, nobody has confirmed these work. I was under the impression tailgate latch, metal, on this striker, metal = no Bueno

Guess I will order it and see. Whats 12 bucks, not even 2 gallons of petrol in socal.
