Rear Running Lights

On my 05 Tahoe, my left rear running light is out but the right is fine. Also, both brake lights work fine. I've changed the bulb to a brand new one from the store without luck. Lastly, I've checked all my fuses and found no issues.
So, in my manual, I have the lighting system wiring diagram with the listed section coming from the 'rear lamps bussing block'. Am I reading this correctly though? I'm seeing the 'left tail/ stop lamp' as my issue light. With that, I'm seeing the brown wire as my probable issue since light blue is listed on both the left and right thus being the shared stop lamp wire.

I'd probably start testing at the junction block (behind the right rear quarter panel). Also, these diagrams might help with the connector pins, but adjust the pages to your specific vehicle. I would be interested in what you find, especially if one diagram is more accurate than the other.

Is your left license plate lite working, it shows sharing power with brown wire at the junction block?

Did you check the bulb socket to see (1) that is clean with contacts exposed and no signs of heat/burning, and (2) do you have 12 volts at the socket contact for the running light filament when your running lights are on?
