Anyone aware of a way to view the rear camera, other than when in reverse?

My aftermarket unit on my old Yukon had a "camera" button that allowed me to turn on the camera anytime. Helped with viewing boat/trailer at times.

I can't seem to find that option on the 2015 Yukon XL Denali. I've searched this forum. One other person asked the same question without answer. I'ver ordered the HMI and phone mirroring upgrade modules, but doesn't appear that they address this either.

Any thoughts?

I agree that's a really helpful feature to have however most vehicles with factory backup cameras don't have the option to view the image except in reverse. There should be a an option to turn it on but, to my knowledge, there isn't.

There is not that option. I know with the 07-14 models you could get something like the Lockpick, iSimple devices, or the NAV-TV Barracuda to unlock it however and then view it when you wish. I would check into them to see if they are supporting the 2015 models as well.
