Rear Autoride Interchangability

I have a Suburban, however I have replacement autoride shocks for a Tahoe/Yukon/Avalanche. When I look up the part numbers they don't show them as compatible and when I spoke the the parts house they said it was due to the weight difference in the rear. Has anyone used rear shocks for a Tahoe/Yukon for a Suburban/XL before? What about the aftermarket? I seem to remember when looking at non-autoride replacements they were the same part#.

Yes. Ultimately I want to replace the shocks with new and do a 2/3-4 drop. I already pulled the front ones out and replaced with Bilstien and resistors, but eventually those will go back to autoride as well when $$ allows.
