Just a quick question looking for the most common reason for this. What causes a random misfire on a 6.0 engine. I’ve had this for 3 years and it’s always throw a random misfire code but never a certain cylinder. Hasn’t done it now in over a month. Just curious as to why.
Thanks Rod

Possible mis-correlation of the crank sensor position. Warm it up and do a Crankshaft Position Relearn with a capable scanner, just to rule it out.

If you haven't yet, put a scanner on it and monitor individual cylinder misfires. Sometimes those show up there without setting a cylinder-specific code.
