Radio install help!!!! Please ASAP

I started **** in my radio using the scosche wiring harness worked fine for the test run then my Tahoe started going nuts and won't turn on now or anything...no lights no nothing just a coupe clicks and crackles any idea what might be going on? I've put in radios for years and have never had a problem like this. :( I need some help bad I tried disconnecting the positive and negative and no change the neg cable was getting hot though

Were the keys in the ignition did you use any type of power for anything while doing it?

You shorted something out real good. Probably burnt the fused distribution block near the battery.
Next time disconnect your negative battery post(s) before electrical installs.
BTW, you need more than a wiring harness to install an aftermarket HU if you want to keep chimes, signals, reverse beeps, etc. You need an actual integration adapter.

If the negative cable is getting hot, I doubt that it is the issue. Hopefully he did check that before posting though.

Are you sure he didn't ninja edit it? :think:

Seriously though you have a short somewhere or you incorrectly wired something.
