Radio help

I have a 2001 tahoe I was just wondering if bought a aftermarket radio for it , would I need a 4 channel or could I do a 2 because I think the one I bought is a two channel.

What radio did you buy? Are you planning on using aftermarket speakers and amps as well, or just wiring up to the stock equipment?
