07 chevy tahoe radio replacemnt help

Hey there, went to audio repair shop and they said my whole system was shot, no sound through any door speakers just tweeters, and radio was bad. I was quoted over $3k for equipment and install. I can do door speakers myself but never have done the radio and not sure what I need. They did a speaker demo of amp vs no amp install and I was fine with either, just looking to stay under $1k for everything. Any good brands or install videos for a touchscreen 8in with navigation and Bluetooth

One place you can look is www.crutchfield.com. They'll show what fits but you don't need to buy there. Just get ideas.

First, establish a firm budget for your project. Then, as @Fless suggested, go to crutchfieeld.com and see what fits your truck and is within your budget in total.

Changing the door speakers is easy. Just get a set of plastic pry bars for interior body work at Harbor Freight and watch a YouTube video to locate the 3 or 4 screws that you need to remove first, before prying off the door panel.

For the head unit itself, you can purchase a bezel adapter that will allow you to install the new radio in your available dash slot and have it look like a nice finished product. Just about any head unit these days will have touch screen and Bluetooth built into it. For built-in navigation, you will pay extra, though any head unit will be able to connect to Android Auto or AppleCarPlay.

You will also need an interface unit which will install between your existing head unit wire connector and the new radio's wire connector, so that you don't need to cut and splice a bunch of wires. The interface unit will also allow you to preserve your existing steering wheel controls.
