QUESTION: Resistor wire up to front parking light and turn signal

I'm putting in LEDs into my parking lights and corner lights on the front. My question is do I wire in my resistor into the blue or the brown wire? In the parking light socket there's a blue, brown and black wire. In the corner light there's just a brown and black wire. Obviously, the black wire is ground so one end of the resistor wires into the black wire but does the other end of the resistor wire into the blue or brown wire?

Just wire the resistor across the Signal wire for turn signals and ground. If i remember correctly, its the blue wire. you can put a test light on the connector for that wire with the turn signal on. If the test light flashes.....welll ahh Magic!

Just another thing to add to this thread in case someone else runs across this thread with a similar question. I found a link that seems to be a decent resource for a wiring diagram for the headlights specifically on pages A-26 and A-27. It's for the GMT900's "c/k pickups" but I'm pretty sure the wire schematic for the headlights would be the same for the full size suvs as well.

ANSWER: the correct wire to wire the resistor to is the blue/white wire that goes into the turn signal

I just recently tried LED tails and turn signals, they spazzed out with standard bulbs up frront. My understanding is , run LED in both and you can program the truck for low voltage .

If by "spazz" you mean hyperflash that is incorrect. If the resistors are wired in correctly each bulb is independent of another and doesn't matter if you run LEDs in front and "regular" bulbs in back or vice versa. It is not a requirement to run LEDs all around or reprogram the vehicle.

I was thinking anlong the lines of erratic lighting. Sometimes on and off flashing like a loose contact point or improper seating issue
