i had a question about putting my stock wheels back on the tahoe.. im going to be pulling my truck to a truck show, but when i took my stock wheels off i didnt mark them which side of the truck they came off from.. the tires have no rotation arrow. any suggestions to what i should do.. so that i dont break the band on the tire if they are mounted the wrong way.
thanks

man. that sucks.. maybe take it to a reputable tire place and see if they can help by looking at the wear of the tread?

I agree with clean95, if they aren't marked with a directional arrow then they aren't directional tires and it won't matter where you put them.....

The only issue you may have is the TPMS sensors in the wrong place (if you mounted them)................I guess you could let some air out of a tire and see which one shows low....................

It won't matter, if they are all the same, and not directional, think of it as a tire rotation...

As for the sensors, I am pretty sure the truck has specific sensors to tell you which tire is what... For the time being, I would simply not trust that if the truck says the LF tire is low, it might be your RR... Check your air the old way.

Also, Don't your new wheels have sensors in it??? Did you put new ones in the new wheels or did the shop pull the sensors out of your old wheels???

Hey onebadrado,

What message do you get when you put on the wheels that dont have the sensors?
I get whole bunch of messages with wheels I have on now without the sensos and wanted to know which one is becasue of the sensors?
Thanx

just slap them back on and youll be fine..

you can run directional tires the wrong way if you need to..i did on my kuhmos on my 22's on my bagged truck because i had some bad tire wear..they were run backwards for 5k and not a single issue..rain driving is the only thing that would be affected
