My 305/30/26's have alot more sidewall than most of the 26's I see on other vehicles... Using the proper tire width helps reduce the "rubberband" appearance :imo:

Unless your going to jump the damn truck go with 26s. 305/30/26 will be fine for street driving. If your going to go play in the dirt or some shit then put stock wheels back on. I drove my truck with 26s on it all the time had no problems. I love the wheels but mainly in chrome.

your truck is hot but your tires are still rubberbands to me

both of you two probably live in an area where roads are perfectly flat..NY isn't so lucky

there is no way either truck of yours (esp trick's) would survive a week in NYC as is....

iwaslowr- I love your white truck and drop. and the grey one with the 26's and those brakes too!

I feel that the 07+'s can pull off bigger wheels and look just as good. not sure how proven that statement is as far as overall tire height and what notbetween 00-06 vs 07+

Like a 26 on the 00-06 truck fills the wheel well and looks incredible. pretty similar to how 28's look on the 07+ body style.

nice truck! keep the rims and tires you have on right now it looks nice im thinking of going with 20's again but with a 45 series tire. plus with a bigger rim it seems like if your truck looks taller not low

I think 26s are too big for the nbs trucks, nnbs looks ill with 26s and even some 28s. I think a 35 series tire on a 24 would be the shortest sidewall I'd go if you are lowering it and wish to maintain some degree of ride quality. This is coming from a guy who has tiny little 22s with ****** roads and enjoys driving 100+ though

Get 28s :D
To me, 24s and 26s ride the same. I had expensive nice tires on my 24s and it rides just as good as the various cheaper tires I have ran on the 3 sets of 26s that I have ran.
As for the rubberband thing, some people are just used to having those doughnut type tires with huge sidewalls. With 26s, rubberbands would be the 295/25/26 tires on Steve Meade's grey NBS Tahoe above, or 275/25/26 meant for cars like Dodge Chargers.

The first pic is an example of 295/30/26.
The second pic is 305/30/26 and the third is 295/35/24.
