prepping for wheels and tires

2002 gmc yukon xl 1500 SLT stock 16s wrapped in 265/75-16 BFG MTs. Moving up to chrome rockstar wheels, 18x9s. I want to fit 35s, preferably nitto grapplers. I cranked the stock keys and only got about an inch-inch and a half. i dont really wanna buy an expensive lift kit, i would prefer to buy all the parts that i need to keep a level stance and fit the 35s. would ford keys and spacers/add a leaf in the rear help? i open to any ideas. lookin to spend under $400 on just making the tires fit. If you know of a cheap kit that'll work for the price, im all ears.

Ill make it easy

1. Most people with a 6" lift have to trim with 35s on aftermarket rims
2. your year truck uses coils in the rear calling for a spacer if you want to lift it
3. Keys and spacers along with a 3" bodylift will be the cheapest route

so if I went with ford keys, and 2 inch spacers in the rear, do you think I would be able to fit 33s on 18x9s?

Ive decided to go with 285/65/18 nitto trail grapplers, which are 33's. Should I just buy the rough country leveling kit with the keys and spacers? or should i buy the parts separate on ebay to save some cash?

Buy the rough country kit, it doesnt come with spacers so youll need to get that too
