I opted to replace the oil pan on my LM2. Recently I had to do my first oil change. It made a huge mess. On top of having to remove the oil plug with a 16mm open end wrench the oil hit the sway bar, it flows out violently and like water. Now I’m going to replace the plug with one of these.
There is a con, no more magnetic tip. Has anyone used one on a PPE pan? What is the proper size? I couldn’t find details on the PPE website that specifies what size plug is used.
