Power folding running boards

Does anyone know of anyone adding power folding running boards to there tahoe or yukon? I want to add power running boards but im looking for some info on getting them wired up and working properly.

Every post I have ever read about this was saying it's not even worth trying to get the OEM boards on there.

I have amp research steps. I would never pay $1400+ for them, but I did find them on craigslist locally for around $400! I love them. http://tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17537
