Can anyone share a step by step set up for adding the Trans Temp PID to the OBD Fusion app for the GM 10 speed trans? should be the same for all of them but if not mine is a 2025 Yukon. I believe the code is 221940
Thanks

I have had ZERO luck getting any custom PID's working in OBDFusion so far to date and I am a pretty advances user. I did have a request into the developer but had not heard back or followed up yet. I had a number of questions about configuration because nothing returned no matter how I configured the App.

You do know the 2025 models have a way to display all the gauges on the "big screen" in the center of the dash.

The 2025 also provides engine Oil Temperature and what I like about the 2025 models they actually provide the numeric read out as well as a bar graph display.

You can also put 1 of the many gauges displayed in the primary dashboard as well.

Yep, I know all that, but I wanted to know when the Yukon was doing its regen and the exhaust temps which the OBD Fusion does. Yesterday I had the OBD Fusion displaying the default PID's on the infotainment screen below the map just fine, then I went and added the gauges I wanted in the app and today can not get anything to display on the infotainment! Everything works in the android app on the phone just can't figure out why it is no longer showing in Android Auto on the infotainment like it did yesterday. Pretty buggy app if you ask me.

You have OBDFusion running on the Infotainment system? I know the 2025 system is more robust and more flexible than earlier models.

You could pull in the Extended PID's within the OBDFusion App and see what happens, I tried on my 2024 and nothing worked with the GM PID's.

The Torque App has Extended PID's with the Trans Temp that works.

Yes, "I did" have the OBD Fusion working and displaying the "readings" on my 25 Yukon yesterday but now they have disappeared. By readings I mean there were no physical gauges but rather text that would change rapidly just like a digital gauge.
I would start the Yukon, then click on Android Auto and then the OBD Fusion icon would show up, clicking on that would show the two default screens, PID and Trip which you would have to choose which one you wanted to display and it worked, but gone today after I altered both to change the PID's to the ones I wanted.

OK, followup to what was going on...I don't really know why the first time I installed the OBD Fusion app on my Android phone the app showed up immediately when I opened Android Auto on my 2025 Yukon infotainment screen, anyway I figured it out...with Android Auto open on the infotainment I needed to tap the little square icon with all the dots to display all the apps that are loaded thru Android Auto and sure enough there Was OBD Fusion and after clicking on that my two new settings were there which I had named "Engine Status" and "Fuel Economy" and when clicking either one of these all my new monitoring settings were there and constantly changing with the values!
Hopefully someday they will make digital gauges to replace the text values but for now at least I can monitor what I want with the app.
