What all is programmed into/controlled by the passenger door window control module? I replaced the door panel today on my 2500 2004 Suburban with a local part out since the arm rest on mine was broken. The donor vehicle was a 1500 04 that seemed to have the same options (heated seats, bose, ect). After plugging in the new modules attached to the door panel, I now have a service tire monitor message. My Suburban has never had tpms.

put your original switches in the new door panel.

^^This, or:

You may be able to disable the TPMS control using a scanner. The opposite of what's shown in the link below. EDIT: after careful reading of the info at the link, TPMS cannot be disabled after it's enabled in the switch. So I think @Scottydoggs' suggestion is the solution.

But I'll leave the link for future search results.

So, in theory, if I add TPMS sensors to my tires, I would now have that option? What else is in that switch?

I used the new switches because they were in better shape than the original ones. The original ones still function, but the retainer clip is broken and its faded.

some times the switches year to year are not the same, can cause off things to happen.
