Long story short, I am being told that a part is on back order and I am trying to figure out if this is true or not. Can anyone confirm any of these parts are on back order?

The part is for an 09 Yukon XL 2500.

A backorder status would be vendor specific. Whoever you are buying them from likely gets them from a distributor, who doesn't go through Amazon or Ebay for procurement.

You need these parts today and you're just now checking up on these to find they are back ordered?

Why is a core support time sensitive? You can always call a junk yard and get a whole assembly for half the cost..

The vehicle hit a deer, I am trapped without a vehicle in a location where I cannot get back to work. Right now I cannot get a core support due to back order which means that my vehicle cannot put back together. The collision center and myself are helpless as this is the third day that the part has "suppose" to be shipped out by a dealer but hasn't arrived at the collision center. As of now they have an entire radiator being shipped but they don't know when that will get in.

The vehicle wasn't completed on Monday due to this issue and now its becoming very time sensitive that it gets completed.

I am willing to drive to pick a part up and bring it to the collision center if it comes to that or even have the part shipped in. I have called numerous repair shops and it is not a part which aftermarket producers produce.

To give everyone an update, the dealer I work with ended up ordering an entire radiator for me to steal the part from. Got it on the vehicle today and it should be put back together tomorrow.

Hello t_bergman,

Thank you for updating everyone on your situation. I am happy the dealer was able to help order a part for you and that your vehicle should be fixed tomorrow. Let us know if there is anything we can assist with. We can be reached via private message to further discuss any concerns or questions.

Sincerely,
