Hey everyone,
I’m currently waiting on a valve body replacement for my 2017 Yukon XL Denali (6.2L, 8L90) at a GM dealership. I’ve been told the valve body is on national backorder, but I’m not getting a clear ETA or much detail beyond that.
I’m trying to see if anyone here has recently dealt with an 8L90 valve body backorder:
• How long did you end up waiting?
• Did GM eventually give a ship date or did it just show up?
• Has anyone heard of updated/revised valve bodies being released recently?
Any firsthand experiences or insight would really help set expectations. Thanks in advance.
