parasitic draw and dash problems

i have a 2003 tahoe, it has parasitic draw. lately when driving the dash and radio have been turning off and on intermittently. it does have an aftermarket radio and aftermarket headlights. installed before i purchased the vehicle.
any help would be appreciated.

Search on here for "parasitic draw" and you'll see many suggestions on how to do it. With the vehicle shut off and an ammeter put in series with your negative battery cable you can measure the draw.

To find out which circuit is drawing, measure across each fuse to see if there is voltage drop. If there is a voltage drop there is a current draw. Sometimes a thermal camera is also helpful to see what's hot.

When the vehicle is fully asleep, how much draw are you measuring?

Yeah, parasitic draws are usually a PIA.

I cannot personally assist you with your issue, but other members of this Forum much more knowledgeable than me in this area will chime in.
