yes. unless it just so happens you find the delco version cheaper at the time of sale. in which this case you might do. however in this the delco one on amazon does not look good picture wise. not sure if that is old pic or they are still using an older design. stick with delphi in this case.

Is there any special gasket or sealer material I should use when installing the new one? I know when you put your oil drain plug back in, you're supposed to put a little oil around the lip of it.

that is a new one on me i always wipe them clean. the new sensor will have anti-seize already on it but you should use a tap to clean the old threads. no other gasket or sealer is needed to purchase.
