Congratulations on receiving your truck. The long wait was well worth it.

DittoIt’s all a matter of preference lol. Some people like it and some people hate it.
People may want an off-road Tahoe or Yukon but don’t like that design.
The sales numbers will ultimately speak for themselves and if that trim isn’t selling they’ll maybe change it if that same feedback is widely provided. If it sells just as they anticipate they’ll leave it.
Didn’t you just get it yesterday lol?I gave her her first bath today, and did as much detailing as I could stand. I also bought a lot of cleaning supplies too, so I'll be ready for the next round.
Put some pics up if her all shined up…that dirty transport pic didn’t do her justice, I’m sure.I received a lot of head turning and pointing today after driving it around locally... I gave her her first bath today, and did as much detailing as I could stand. I also bought a lot of cleaning supplies too, so I'll be ready for the next round. What I really need is a good quality duster to reach those hard-to-get places like the rear roof and center hood area near the cowl.
You missed out on a fun road tripping experience. Course, not everyone has the time or inclination but we enjoy them. Congratulations on the new ride, color is awesome IMO.The salesman and manager in Mississippi was expecting me to fly down there to get the vehicle, but I explained there was this thing called FedEx whereby you can mail the documents and have me sign them in front of a notary public... Kidding, just kidding. I didn't explain that to them, but they did actually think I'd fly there to get it and drive home.
I did... but after travelling 1900 miles, it desperately needed a wash. It was covered in the kind of dirt like pollen dust, or the kind that blankets your vehicle after someone nearby is using a leaf blower and kicks up dirt. I may tint the taillights, side markers, and rear bumper reflectors next...Didn’t you just get it yesterday lol?
That would have been too much of a drive for me. I just came back from a vacation at the Grand Canyon in January, so it'll be a hard sell to convince my boss to let me take off again for another week so soon. You missed out on a fun road tripping experience. Great looking Yukon. Nice color!Part 2 pics
Beautiful SUV, congrats! For a tool to help with washing those hard to reach places, check out Autofanatic’s wash mop kit. There’s a review on YouTube for it. I purchased one and it’s a bit pricey, but it’s an amazing tool.I received a lot of head turning and pointing today after driving it around locally... I really love this color with a passion. Every time I look at it in different lighting, it transitions from a deep burgandy in dark lighting, to a metallic rootbeer in direct sunlight or florescent lighting. And with SoCal being such a sunny state year-round, this metallic color will thrive.Great looking Yukon. Nice color!
GM really has done good things with these new metallic colors. Our satin steel does the same kind of thing, gray when cloudy but light blue when sunny and blings like a diamond in the direct sunlightI really love this color with a passion. If I'm going to spend this kind of cheese on this vehicle, it better have the 6.2... And honestly, I wouldn't have purchased it if it didn't. It was one of my bare minimum requirements (AT4, Pano-roof, Cat-Back exhaust, retractable steps, 6.2 V8, Black nameplates). I really wanted the AT4 Premium Plus package that came with everything on my list, but the ones I found over the months were all customer orders, and the order I did place wouldn't have been ready for another 8 months from now.Looks like you got the 6.2 w/OEM upgraded exhaust..lets hear it (cold start and a few revs once warmed). Corsa is on my list for my 6.2.
