What brings you to the conclusion that it's the fuel pump's fault?

I thought you tested it at 48 psi? I may be misremembering, but aren't we supposed to have 60 PSI?

He measured that at idle. Typically these run in the low to mid 40s (43-45 psi) when the engine is running, as long as the fuel pressure regulator is working properly.

Yes, Idling FP was 48psi. I did not try it KOEO nor did i try snapping the throttle and i did not unhook the vacuum line either.
Regardless the first thing i need to change is the Fuel Filter, At 180k im pretty sure it has never been changed. After changing that i'll check it again.
