OBS 2 door questions

My parents bought the first 92 Blazer that hit our dealers lot and I wanted it from day one... Well I was only 11 so needless to say I didnt get it. fast forward 20 years and I bought my first 2 door yesterday...

I am sure I will ask more questions but these are the first few...

1) when the truck is running with the key in the ignition the door chime (or buzzer) stays on, I dont mind it reminding me the headlights are on or my key is in it when the truck is not running but, is it normal for the it to buzz when the truck is running?

2) This truck has the push button 4x4 and it works great but when the indicator lights do not stay on, when it is in 2wd and you press 4wd hi or low the orange light will flash then goes back off, I thought it must be normal but earlier I noticed the 2wd light was on then it went back off. At that time I noticed the light on the two ac buttons also went off. any Ideas on where to start looking for the problem?

3) What is the easiest way to find out my gear ratio?
