2008 Yukon Denali with the Bose.

Currently the head unit power's on everything works as normal as far as the head unit looks but there is absolutely no sound coming from any part of the truck now. I've had issues where just the front speakers in the truck would not come on but typically if I cycled the key they would come back on. But now this morning everything is absolutely dead and no sound.

Trying to figure out how to test or figure out if it's the factory amp or if it's the head unit not putting out signal to the factory amp.

I'm also about 2 seconds away from pulling the trigger on aftermarket head unit and totally redoing all of the door speakers with an aftermarket amplifier too.... But that's a little pricey

I think that you're going to need to get into the unit's connections for this one. My guess is that it is the amplifier that is failing, and not the head unit. I personally cannot help you at this point, as I ripped out my Bose system and installed a fully aftermarket system in my truck.

We do have some folks here that are Bose knowledgeable, and they will chime in.

Just did a search, and there is a possibility bad speakers can wreck the amp. (not vehicle specific)
Before plugging any replacement parts in, I would put a meter on the front speakers to make sure the ohms are to spec.

What "Uxx" RPO codes does it have? UQA/UQS, UQ3 (with or without UQ6), U2K?

Is there power at both sides of fuse #41 in the underhood fusebox? Fuse socket pin tension good?
