I don't here the fuel pump and, with fuel press gauge hooked up, key on, no press.

What to check first ??

Checked fuses pulled out fuel relay cleaned prongs .

Can I check relay to see if it's ok ?

Where do I check to see if fuel pump is getting power.

I am thinking Because the truck has been setting a while, It's a possibility that mice or something chewed wires up on top of tank or somewhere.

What other reasons are there for the pump to be not working ??

Just so ya know, I have a scan tool but it is not bidirectional.I have a multi meter.

Relay is clicking fine, I beat on the gas tank a little. Still no go
Edit: I have been searching through the FSM , and can't find where I may be able to check for power to fuel pump, without dropping the tank, so I guess I will have to drop the tank to check for power.

unknown at this time.
have you tried an amperage draw test of pump using multimeter on relay block? one probe on the power feed terminal the other on the pump load terminal. follow the diagram on relay if it is printed on there. there should also be a red wire near there taped away it could be for a battery feed to trailer harness and one for factory priming the fuel system. when being made the factory line puts gas in vehicle and plugs in to the wire to fill the lines up. when they unplug it after all the fluid install are done it is just start and go at the end.

On the fuel pump it should be the grey wire to test if the voltage is making it back there. if you get say like less then anp dray chances are the pump mounted inside the has rusted out externally and it effecting electrical flow. anymore and it is electrically good but seized.

I beat the crap out of the tank with a big rubber hammer, no results
I might as well drop the tank ,and check power and ground right at the pump, rather than pull wires out of harness, so I can be sure there is power and good connections right at the pump.
I used a test light and did the relay tests in this video.
