Installed a new crate motor in my 1999 Yukon and now my cruise control doesn't work and my heater controls are not working either. Vacum issue ? looks as if everything is connected

Either you did not get all the plumbing back in right ports, or you have a vacuum leak. Both systems are vac controlled.
