Can you bring back the "Today's Posts" button?

Being a noob I have very limited access to making changes; just dragging my geriatric self up the technology learning curve. ;)

Doesn't the "What's new" tab at the top show the most recent posts? Or are you looking for only brand new threads?

Am I wrong or am I right that the vendors section looks smaller as far as vendor count?

"What's New" doesn't show recently viewed threads. Unless there is a new post added you didn't view. There used to be a "Today's Posts" button that showed all active threads regardless of "Viewed" status. So if you click on a thread in the "What's New" page and read it, and hit "What's new" again it disappears from the list. Sometimes I like to go back and view a thread to respond and can't remember where to find it.

If I was as smart and quick at the wit like @iamdub I wouldn't have this issue but I am a retard in comparison.

The "What's New" tab at the top of the page DOES show recently viewed threads.

If your read threads disappear when you refresh that, have you tried making a different selection using the dropdown arrow?

Just curious, since I use the What's New tab all the time, and it shows threads I've read, and haven't read.

All I've ever used is the "New posts" link. I click it then scroll, read and reply until I reach the "Threads below have not been updated since your last visit." message. Then, click the "bell" icon to seen the new notifs while I was catching up, then repeat with the "New posts" icon.
