New (to us) Suburban and Tahoe

We just equipped two kids with cars for college; that wiped out the spare car we had purchased for the purpose, and my wife's car. She wanted a truck or SUV to replace her Crown Victoria, and... Well, we ended up with a 2005 Tahoe LT for her. I have been wanting a Suburban forever and, after driving her Tahoe, decided to look for one. That lead me to the 2005 Suburban 2500 LT I just purchased -- that and I was really interested in Quadrasteer...

I've been skimming the site for a week or two, but I am to the point where I have figured out all I can from this site's archives and need to ask a few questions, here and there. Thank you to everyone who has contributed write-ups on the blood, sweat and tears they have poured into their rides!

Welcome from Miami Beach Will!! Excellent choice!! The Tahoe is the best replacement vehicle for the Crown Vic for your wife..Excellent choice on your Suburban also..You definitely made the right choice.

I was going to edit my first post, but apparently I can't... Anyway, here is a picture of the Tahoe:

You can just barely see my wife through the back window tint -- at 5 feet of her.

The Tahoe seems to be pretty stock except for an aftermarket radio, but it may have had exhaust work done. The exhaust sounds amazing; her 5.3 sounds better than my 6.0!!!
