Hey, folks! I am new to the forum and just bought an '05 GMC Yukon Denali with only 56,000 original miles. It's Charcoal Grey in color and I am having a heck of a time deciding on wheels. I know, I know.... this topic has been beat to death! I have spent several hours in the archives looking and reading and have found little that lights my fire and while I really want new wheels, I just can't make a decision. I have found several posts about Boss 330's and U2 55's (I do like both) but they are crazy popular...

The color of my Denali is what is giving me fits! Wheels size is an issue too. I can't decide if I should go chrome, black or black-machined. Do I go with a 20 inch wheel with more of an all-terrain tire or do I go after the street look? If I go for the street look, I dig the look of 24's but I drive a lot and am worried about the ride, bump-steer, etc. What about wheel-gap.... Ugh! see what I mean? Frustrated!

I'm posting here because I need your help! Please comment or post up any suggestions you may have for me. I'd really like to hear from the 24" crowd on ride quality too.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Chad

Yeah I think chrome looks the best on a darker colored truck for sure. Im looking for new wheels myself and its hard because I love the charcoal colored wheels but dont think they would look good with the color of my tahoe. I might go with black ones though.

I think black would good on charcoal grey. And since you drive a lot, I'd go 20s with all season tires but no bigger than 22s, imo.

If you drive a lot then 22 is the biggest I'd go. I've had 24's and... never again. Lots of people get em but there is a lot of modifying to get the ride "just right" afterwards. Then again it's all a matter of opinion and what people are willing to sacrifice as far as ride quality goes. To me that's the highest thing on the list... higher then looks.

And chrome.. but of course I'm partial.

Thanks for the help guys! I was looking around on ebay and saw several CK 375 Replicas. Chrome and gloss black. Any thoughts on those?
