Hi there!

It's been a long time since I've been on any forum, but I figure it's always good to have a second opinion on some of the more difficult jobs.

I have a 2002 Ducks Unlimited Outfitters Edition Tahoe that I picked up about 5 or 6 years ago for a decent price. 270,000 miles on the original 5.3 and transmission. 6 Inch Rough Country lift kit. LT295/70R18 BF Cooper Evolution M/T on Dick Cepek rims.

I've been working on it for a long time now, mostly replacing essential parts and keeping it running more than upgrading. Most recently, I've been replacing the suspension and steering system. I don't have an immediate list for what I've repaired, but if I did, it would be a long one.

Currently, my only concern for this vehicle is that I keep getting a bad EVAP read on my scan tool, but it doesn't specify what or where the problem is located.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

I cannot personally help you with your question; however, other members on this Forum that are much more knowledgeable than me will chime in.

To assist others, what specific code numbers related to the Evap system are you receiving?

Oddly enough, the error doesn't display as a code. It comes up as an incomplete Cat Monitor error and an EVAP Monitor error. Every other system displays a green icon, with the exception of these two.

Additionally, this OBD2 Reader is new to me, I went for one that was better than my last one, so I may not be navigating the interface correctly.
