New to forum.I got a 98 tahoe coolant leak

Got a 98 tahoe an noticed a coolant leak,seems to be running down the back of the lower hose from the waterpump.My question is i keep hearing about a weep hole in the waterpump when it goes bad but i only see the hose wet.It only leaks after i shut it off then stops after it cools for a few. Any suggestion would be great.I guess ill start with the lower rad hose.

On my 96 there's a plate that covers the back of the pump. Mine was leaking at that seal and running, eventually, down the hose. You'll be able to see it when you get under there. It may very well not be the hose.

Thanks for replying,I changed the lower rad hose an its still leaking.Gonna change the waterpump next.
