Just picked up a new 2021 Tahoe PPV/SSV 4WD. It has 34k on it and low idle hours. I probably paid too much for it, but it was was never in patrol service (although it does have roof antennas). Body is perfect, and best of all, no spot lights and a full civilian console.

Is there a light that lights up showing the DoD or what ever they’re calling the fuel saving garbage? I thought a light appears showing if it turns off cylinders?

Well openings to help before the warranty expires. I was expecting more power from it. I know it’s big, but the Tahoe’s with the 5.3 seem fairly limp wristed as far as acceleration goes

Congrats. I always rather pay a premium up front and get a nice vehicle than save bucks now and get problems later(and end up paying more in the long term). Good luck!

It’s not supposed to be ZL1 fast because cops have radios. If you wanted a rocket ship, should have looked at a 6.2….

Our 5.3 does everything we need with this machine. If I want to burn rubber I jump in the old Camaro. (and look out for the PPV lurking nearby) But I'd suggest doing the disable of the cylinder de-activation deal soon.
