New Tahoe Order Constraints?

I have a 2021 Tahoe Premier on order, pearl white loaded up. Will find out next week if any constraints but has anyone heard of any lately? Salesman told me possibly the rims I have ordered but he thinks can get anyway and maybe the power running boards...and I do have an allocation for the Tahoe.

I just got mine last week, the max trailering package and magnetic air ride is what held mine up.

Magnetic, well that’s not good cuz premier, high country and z71 all have that...or did you upgrade to the air ride suspension?

This is a great site someone posted on here, updates the constraints. The rims I want are not available, only other thing is if the retractable steps are available or not....?

So pretty much all the options everyone wants/needs. Terrible year to be buying a new car, reading last night the chip shortage is getting worse and may last well into next year. Our dealerships here are so bare right now.

I honestly think it’s just certain rims and the trailering package that are restricted if you read carefully enough. I guess I’ll find out next week when hopefully my order gets accepted

Good luck, I hope it gets accepted. We had one on order for over a month, and it was never accepted. Does it say above that the Premium Luxury Packages are also not available?

It does say the premium package was restricted in previous weeks. I had heard the trailering package was restricted so I purposefully itemized my order. Sunroof and dvd were a must for wife and kids.

Placing a sold order now will take up to 60 to 120 days. Dealers are afraid putting in sold orders they have customers still waiting from January and are asking for their deposits back. The shortage of everything has really slowed down production in the industry. Now I'm hearing there's a rubber shortage which means very limited on tires for the rest of the year.

Well my order did not get accepted, was told GM is out of luxury packages right now....wtf!

No, dealer got another allocation so waiting to hear today what can be ordered. We are in such f*cked up times it’s very frustrating.

Good luck man. I was reading the Mercedes forum a few days back, and they're having similar issues with the GLS. It is a crazy world right now .. getting caught up from closing down for a year. One thing you could do is ask the dealer if they're putting your order in as a sold unit.

Get a Purchase Agreement when you place the order and submit your deposit. It locks them into that price
