Wanted to see a set of these clear. I’ve never seen a cleared set. So I cleared a set lol. Pretty crazy looking , again doesn’t flow on my truck imo. Would look good on a white or silver or black truck 0A277369-8F58-4EE5-AD5E-16B68990DB98.jpeg6635E813-D6EE-4A52-9141-2E0EFB942722.jpeg8DD08DAA-4AE8-4C27-BD0E-44CEAEAE7C94.jpeg1E4B9F19-5121-4061-91C0-8E0868B60B92.jpeg3874C6D1-B096-4AC8-B7D5-0A4D343E8596.jpeg

Damn, you’re getting pretty good at this. Ever thought about setting up an eBay storefront and sell one-off lights or made to order stuff? You could start in your spare time or time between jobs and see where it goes. You might be able to make pretty good money at it.

This is kind of a trial run. I don’t personally want these on my truck but I’ve seen so many pickup people asking for them. This is actually the first place anybody has seen these tails.

Most of these were baked or cut open with a dremel . Got tired of doing that so I splurged on an ultra sonic cutter. Worth its weight in gold. Works like a charm. I looked into one of those when I was going to open a set of permaseal headlights but iirc they’re kinda spendy. Something I’d buy if I was going to do it for a living. Have they come down in price ?

Not at all, still $500 for the cheapest Chinese cutter. Feel like these were cheap at one point but then headlight retrofitters started using them and the supply and demand rule went into effect, not much to them at all. Seen a YouTube video of a guy taking one apart , super simple design.
Worth it if you cut open a lot of lights yes, but I was saying worth it as just a hobbyist. I can see a ton of little detailed uses for this thing.
I think about how many lenses I’ve cracked and would’ve saved had I had this little unit
