Hi I'm looking for advice on what I should be doing do this yukon to bring its maintenance back up to date, I purchased this yukon a year ago finally getting the funds about 6 months ago to start working on it and getting it drivable, I had the transmission swapped with a rebuilt one on Sept 9th 2021, the shop just found out my check engine light is not working ( this was working before ) so after I received the truck with the transmission I drove it and did not know the vehicle was sending codes, it drove fine but the shop found out it was only using 2nd gear and 3rd gear, the guy I bought the transmission from says it could be the solenoid or an electrical issue somewhere else and the shop also found that my starter solenoid is starting to get stuck and not disengage, my wheel bearing sensor might be faulty (causing traction active to come on), my belt and fan clutch are old, which was causing a grinding type squeal

Welcome to the forum and beside dealing with codes and what goes with all that, if you do not know the age of the rest of the fluids, change them all, at the minimum.

Okay I've changed the oil and the transmission was changed as well, so that leaves the power steering, brake fluid and coolant, am I missing anything?

Differentials and transfer case. Almost forgot, the blinker fluid too.

Check that washer fluid for this time of year.

Yes I do agree with you, the seats are so comfortable even in decent condition, can't wait to rebuild the seats to like new condition but it's been sitting since I found out a couple days ago my check engine light is not working and I have a p0753 but it drives fine, I was told it's only using 2nd and 3rd gear, but I don't want to risk ruining the transmission I put in it.

These rigs are known for ground problems. I would check all of them before thinking there is a problem with the trans.
