New here - Hello

A month and a half ago, my 04 Sierra was stolen from my house for the rims and stereo. After a month of fighting with Geico, and undecided on what to buy, I ended up finding a nice '11 Yukon with everything I wanted

So the Yukon is an SLT with all the stuff I wanted. AC Seats, 5.3, six speed, rear captains, but no TV's, Nav, etc. I almost bought the Denali, but I really didn't want the 6.3, AWD, or the mileage that goes with


I'm sure I will have questions, but I am a regular on a vintage VW board, so I know to at least try to search.

I'm wanting to drop it a bit, Wanted to do G4 tails but glad I searched first, seems hit and miss. First things first, the rims have got to go. I like them but they will get the whole thing stolen again

anyways, thought I'd introduce myself - off to some searching

New rims finally put on. ACE 22inch - pretty nice actually, they are growing on me. I like the factory 22's but where I live, it's asking to get stolen or car-jacked

couple things - I figured out that previously someone has put on the Tahoe tailgate applique above the plate - it's a different shape than the Yukon one. And it has a camera so it's not exactly cheap. Sucks

the factory 22's I had on there will be for sale. I don't have 85 or whatever posts - so it will be a while before I can post them here.

I really want to do the G4's but after reading all the posts here, seems that they can really be hit or miss. That sucks...

other than that - thinking about adding a sub. I have the stock bose, and it's not bad, just lacking. probably add an amp and a 10 or a 12 in the back, I like the one that goes in the center console, but they say they wont work with the rear AC?
