Hello. New member here. Today I purchased a new 2024 Tahoe Premier 4WD, incandescent pearl white with the maple interior.

This is my first Tahoe, but I have owned GM / Chevrolet vehicles continuously for more than 50 years. My first car at age 16 was a used 1965 Chevrolet Chevrolet Malibu 2-door. I also owned various Corvette models for 40+years.

I have read some posts over the past few weeks, prior to registering. There are some good and interesting posts. I look forward to being an active and contributing member.

I’ll eventually post pictures when the weather improves. It has rained and snow is forecast. The Tahoe is garaged and I have another car. I’ll have to wait for a sunny, dry day to pull it out and take a few pictures. Thanks.

That's a pretty deluxe machine, sort of a steep learning curve to master all tech. readouts and operation. Took me a long time to finally get the transmission temperature readout. 5 years old and I'm sure there's still some stuff I don't know but I don't need it anyway.

Yes - there are MANY features, and some are not intuitive to find.

I am already frustrated that Chevrolet does not provide a full printed owner’s manual.

The abbreviated printed version that came with the vehicle is okay - but didn’t even contain information on how to pair my garage doors’ opener to the vehicle.

I had to look up the full manual online, print the pages, and use them inside the vehicle (I don’t care to try to read multiple page instructions on my smartphone screen).

I tried to order a printed version online via HelmInc.com, but the site shows only a printed version is available for the 2024 Tahoe police edition. Frustrating.

Here are two pictures taken today when I pulled the Tahoe out of the garage to get my snowblower ready for the 8-11 inches of snow that is forecasted:

Nice wheels and tires!

Did you buy it new? I thought all the 2024’s had 22” wheels and low profile Bridgestone Allenza tires. To me the truck looks better with a tire that has more side wall and maybe ride is better too. When my original Bridgestone’s start wearing out I am looking at that combo you have.

Nice truck!. Premier is an excellent choice espacially if you don’t want the HUD (stock on High Country) but you can still add a 6.2 and many other options.

Yes - I bought it new, and it was a dealer stock unit. The Premier comes standard with 20-inch, high polish wheels. There are eight, 22-inch wheels options on the Premier (some I think are dealer installed). I did not want a bigger wheel option. The tires are Continental all-season ones.

I would have liked the HUD unit, but the Tahoe Premier did not have it. It is available on the Premier in a package that contains the HUD and the surround-vision cameras.

I could not find a Premier 4WD with the package in stock in the area I live, and I also wanted to buy from the dealer that I did (we have done business there for years - a small, family-owned rural dealership).

I had the HUD unit on a 1999 Corvette that I bought new, and also a 2004 Gran Prix GT2 that I bought for my son (some time ago.....). The HUD feature is great.

I did not want the 6.2 V-8 as it requires premium gas - and I did not need the extra engine size as I use my SUV’s strictly for passenger use (no towing).
